Axel Honneth

Axel Honneth – critical theorist and philosopher, known for his work on recognition and social freedom. Honneth was Habermas's student and succeeded him as director of the Institute for Social Research in Frankfurt.

Herbert met Honneth directly through his son Joel Anderson.
