Frank J. Barrett is a jazz pianist and organizational theorist, best known for Yes to the Mess: Surprising Leadership Lessons from Jazz (2012), which draws on his experience as a performing jazz musician to illuminate improvisation, leadership, and collaborative creativity. He is a professor at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.
