Paul Simon

Paul Simon — singer-songwriter, one half of Simon & Garfunkel, and one of the most celebrated solo artists in American popular music. Bridge Over Troubled Water, Graceland, Still Crazy After All These Years.

Doug Eaton has been his neighbor. When Doug and his wife Joanne moved into their Manhattan building in 1977, Paul Simon — Doug notes he was among "three major figures in the arts who all happened to be shorter than 5'4"" — was already there. Simon and his wife Edie Brickell eventually moved to Texas; their apartment is now used mainly by their children.
